CHOOSE PRINT LAUNCHES NEW WEBSITE ... CHECK IT OUT!
The ChoosePrint.org website brings together in one place much-needed, reliable information about print's credentials as a driver of both off-line and on-line sales as well as a renewable and recyclable environmental resource. An important component of the campaign in 2011 was the monthly postcard mailed to over 8,000 advertising agencies throughout the country.
PPI Members are encouraged to utilize the resource, use the logo, be part of the grassroots effort to spread the truth about the value of print.

To Print or Not to Print
From Feb. 1997, Relevant Today
From time to time a printer must make the determination of when not to submit a bid at the request of a customer or to go forward and print a particular job. While the reasons vary, most of the time the reason why a printer will refuse a job is because the job is inappropriate for the printer's equipment or it cannot fit into the schedule and still meet the customer's deadline.
However, there are other reasons for why a printer may want to refuse a job or refuse to bid on a job. Many of these reasons may appear obvious and some may not be clear and concrete. This advisory will attempt to clarify some of these points.
