From time to time a printer must make the determination of when not to submit a bid at the request of a customer or to go forward and print a particular job. While the reasons vary, most of the time the reason why a printer will refuse a job is because the job is inappropriate for the printer's equipment or it cannot fit into the schedule and still meet the customer's deadline.
However, there are other reasons for why a printer may want to refuse a job or refuse to bid on a job. Many of these reasons may appear obvious and some may not be clear and concrete. This advisory will attempt to clarify some of these points.
USPS Launches Free Second Ounce Pricing for First-Class Business Mail
WASHINGTON, DC --Jan. 25, 2012 -- High-volume commercial mailers spoke, and the Postal Service listened. Effective this week, businesses mailing First-Class Mail automation, presort letters using 2nd Ounce Free pricing can mail letters weighing up to two ounces at the one-ounce postage rate.
